Speaker Twin, Demand Twin, Content Twin, Encore Index, speaker rebook rate, booking graph — defined
Six terms SpeakerEncore uses in every finding, starting with the booking graph they all come from. People ask two things first: what is a Speaker Twin, and how is a speaker rebook rate counted. Both answers are below, in the wording of record.
Booking graph
The booking graph links speakers to the organizations that book them through verified bookings, captured year after year with the evidence for each, and connects them across every dimension a booking carries: topics, audiences, industries, the Speaking Circuits speakers share, and the culture of the organizations that hire them. Analyzing those relationships reveals what no booking list shows: which buyers already hire speakers like you, and which are most likely to book you next.
Every finding is a query over this graph.

Speaker Twin
A Speaker Twin is another speaker whose booking history reveals buyers who already hire speakers like you — and are more likely to hire you, too. There are two kinds: Demand Twins, matched on who books you, and Content Twins, matched on what you speak about.
Demand Twins are found from booking histories. Content Twins are found from one-sheets and websites.

Demand Twin
We call them Demand Twins — speakers whose buyers overlap, whether or not they've ever met. They define Speaking Circuits.
Two speakers qualify only when at least three distinct organizations have booked both; appearing together on one program does not qualify.

Content Twin
Matched on what a speaker says — topic, positioning, audience, fee range — from public materials such as one-sheets, bios, and video that are similar to yours. A content twin's buyers are your prospects because a buyer has proven they are hiring speakers with similar offerings or One-Sheets.

Encore Index
Rebook rate
The share of bookings that are repeats: the same speaker on the same organization's program, or an affiliated organization's, in a later year. For a speaker, it is the share of their bookings that were return invitations. For an organization, it is the share of its bookings that went to speakers it had booked before. It is a behavioral signal: an organization decided a speaker was worth having back.
The State of Speaker Bookings reports it in aggregate.
